Spring Junior Academy

Each age group will meet once per week for 6 weeks.
Group Ratio is 6 students to 1 instructor.
Cost for the 6 sessions is $250.

Program Outline

Age 7 – 12 Young Players

Building a solid foundation of skills
- Teaching the fundamentals of a golf swing
- Grip, posture, swinging a club, what each club does
Physical skills
- Balance, speed, flexibility
Rules of golf and golf etiquette
Playing games with rewards

Age 13 – 18 Intermediate

Fundamentals (grip, posture, set up)
Group golf swing lessons
Group short game
Group skills testing
- Up and down challenges
- Hit the fairway challenges
- Putting challenges
- On course 3 hole challenge
Challenges with rewards and consequences
On-Course Coaching
Introduction to evaluating your own practice and how to begin training like an elite player

Pool* 1:15pm – 3:00pm

*The 11-14 year olds will have the option of pool or golf after lunch.

$450 per child for members includes lunch daily
$495 per child for non-members includes lunch daily

PGA Jr. League at Hollow Brook Golf Club

PGA Jr. League is shifting the perception of youth golf and the way the game is learned and played. The program brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching and instruction from PGA and LPGA Professionals. It’s a game changer, and we’re so excited to offer PGA Jr. League at Hollow Brook Golf Club!

Hollow Brook’s PGA Jr. League program is open to boys and girls ages 13 and under of all skill levels. No golf experience is required! Kids will learn the game and enjoy relaxed competition in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and teaches sportsmanship.

Each PGA Jr. League golfer will receive:

Two high-quality team jerseys; one orange and one blue (for home and away games). Jerseys are available in boys and girls sizes and customizable with our team name and player’s chosen jersey number!
Performance T-shirt, hat, bag tag, stickers and drawstring bag
6 team practices and free range balls
4-6 regular season matches
Opportunity to advance to All-Star teams during post-season.

The season will start May 1st and run through the end of June, most matches and practices will be weekend afternoons starting at 4pm, we may have the occasional practice on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm.
